If you love the woods, you'll love this spot.Beautifully remodeled in summer 2021, this delightful cottage is off South Road (2 miles west of West Tisbury Center, 3 miles southeast of Chilmark Center and 5 miles southeast of Menemsha). A short walk down a private path will take you to Chilmark Pond, where you can canoe (included) or kayak (single included; contact us if you want to bring your own) to a private beach.Sleeps five comfortably: main bedroom has a queen size bed with lots of windows and adjoining bathroom, second bedroom has two twin beds.  Ascend the spiral staircase to a loft with full size futon under a skylight and an additional twin bed. An additional (full) bathroom as well as an outdoor shower round out the house.Small but full kitchen connects to dining area (table for 6) and living area, where the big bay window looks out onto a small yard and woods.  The wrap around deck provides both sun and shade. Porch roof covers the deck's south side and you control the retractable awning to the west - enjoy your time, rain or shine!
